Villa Miter students will be trained in healthcare

Professionals from San Bernardo Hospital will dictate the second training workshop on health care for young students at Secondary School No. 5024 Sargento Cabral de Villa Miter.

Among the topics that will be presented are prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid and talk of building a life project.

The workshops are implemented within the framework of the “Young Health Promoters” project, with the participation of professionals and specialists from the hospital, who make up the Cardiology, Infectious Diseases Services and Community Program, in cooperation with the Argentine Red Cross.

Young Health Promoters

It is a project of the Community Program at San Bernardo Hospital, and its functions include the design and implementation of proposals for community approaches that include creative, effective and timely responses to health problems prevalent in the Salta community.

For this purpose, strategies for research, strengthening and training of human resources are implemented that promote detailed and collaborative actions between the various institutional social actors and the health institution.
