We participated in the first National Mental Health Meeting

President of the nation Dr. Alberto FernandezThe meeting was opened by the Minister of Health, Dr. Carla VezzottiRepresentative of the Pan American Health Organization, Eva Jane Lopes. In this sense, they highlighted the importance of the comprehensive mental health approach plan and evaluated the path taken in terms of transforming practices from an asylum model to a community model.
Representing our institution, the National Hospital and the Ramón Carrillo community, workers from “Montes Verdes” and “La huerta Cultiva” were present, who demonstrated through their platforms the work they were doing in their spaces, both in terms of recycling and sowing, harvesting, cultivation and composting, from Among other things.
The talks were held simultaneously, focusing on networks of care and simplification. In addition, the event included a federal exhibit, in which each state demonstrated local progress in implementing the National Mental Health Act.
We congratulate all our enterprise users who were part of the first National Mental Health Meeting and will continue to promote engagement, inclusion and action through these spaces.
