WNBA reverses second technical foul against Sky’s Angel Reese

After Angel Reyes was sent off for two technical fouls on Tuesday, one of them was overturned. Could he have stayed in the game?

Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls, who was in attendance at the game, said on X that he would pay the $400 fine Reyes received from the WNBA for the two technical fouls. Now, that fine would be $200, because it’s just a technical foul.

For the first three technical fouls in a season, the WNBA imposes a fine of $200 each. Technical fouls from four to six are each fined $400. The seventh technical foul carries an $800 fine plus a one-game suspension.

“By the way, the referee who sent off @Reese10Angel was poor,” Paul wrote. “You know who you are (Hold your money, angel, I’ve got you covered).”

Reese responded, “I appreciate you guys!”
