XV Health for All Trade Show Concluded Successfully – Juventud Rebelde

With the signing of 16 new contracts and business agreements worth more than $45 million, the 15th Health For All Expo concluded Friday at the Havana Convention Center.

Before Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Luis Fernando Navarro Martinez, Deputy Minister of Public Health reported that in the three days of the event, they held 91 working sessions with clients and foreign delegations.

He explained during the ceremony that 64 foreign companies from 19 markets and more than 60 national entities present at the Babexpo site held permanent exchanges, in addition to holding workshops, seminars and conferences with wide participation.

The outputs of the Cuban biotechnology industry in the face of COVID-19, the development of technology and innovation in the field of health and regulations for medicines and medical equipment and devices, have been the main axes of the Health for All agenda.

The Deputy Minister said that the companies supplying the health system presented at Babexpo their products and services aimed at ensuring the work and vitality of the important sector.

This Thursday also concluded the Health Tourism Fair, whose first edition, according to Navarro Martinez, concluded with great satisfaction, quality level and high participation of nearly 60 foreign companies from 28 countries.

As part of that meeting, which sought to establish the destination of Cuba as a benchmark for health tourism, 68 exchange activities were held and the parties signed nine contracts and seven letters of intent.

BioCubaFarma Group organisms, sector entities and other foreign entities were honored for the products presented at both exhibitions, among which the Quality Award was given to Combiomed for its high performance pulmonary ventilator.

The premiere exhibition for medical tourism and wellbeing features, in the enterprise category, the Serra Garcia International Clinic, the leader in the largest of the Antilles in terms of systematic operations associated with this method.

The Ministry of Public Health will host the Health for All, Medical Tourism and Wellness Exhibition in 2025.
