4.1 earthquake shakes southern Haiti

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the open Richter scale jolted southern Haiti on Monday, with no casualties or damages reported by the authorities.

In April, 108 tremors were recorded, most of them minor, with a magnitude of between 1.3 and 1.5, although three others, centered in Grand Anse, reached 5.3 on the Richter scale.
