Spain already has opponents in the group stage of the World Cup in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6. Fede Vidal’s men have been drawn in Group D in Andean alongside Kazakhstan, New Zealand and Libya.
The debut will be against Kazakhstan on September 15, followed by matches against Oceanic on the 18th and the Africans on the 21st to close out the group.
Spain have faced Kazakhstan five times, with a record of four wins and one draw, only once against Libya, winning 3–0. It will be the first ever clash against New Zealand.
The 24 teams participating in the finals of the World Cup are divided into six groups of four, with the top two and four best third-placed teams in each qualifying for the Round of 16.
