A new poll confirms Lula’s leadership in the Brazilian elections | News

A new poll published this Thursday by polling firm Quaest confirmed that Labor Party (PT) leader and presidential candidate, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, has 48 percent intent to vote before the October 30 poll.

According to the investigation, Lula’s opponent, current Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, will get 41 percent support in this election.

Regarding valid votes, which do not include null or invalid votes, the Labor candidate will win 54 percent, while Bolsonaro will get 46 percent.



The survey was conducted between October 3 and 5, interviewing about 2,000 people, and a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.

In the first round of the presidential election, which was held on October 2, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) stated that Lula had received 48.43% of the vote, i.e. 5,725,954.

For his part, Bolsonaro had 43.20 percent support, which represents 51,072,345 votes.
