Milwaukee — Hunter Renfrew collided two out of five barnyard owners with the Milwaukee Brewers, who took the season’s highest win over the Chicago Cubs 11-1 on Friday.
Adrian Houser (2-2) hit six and allowed two strokes spaced out in six rounds. He described six strokes and gave a few walks.
Chicago quarterback Kyle Hendrix (1-2), who limited Milwaukee in one round with seven strokes during 5 1/3 of the season’s opening innings, did not survive in the fifth inning of Friday’s game.
The right-hander allowed six runs, which made his season low. He also received seven hits, stopped walking twice and hit two opponents.
Hendricks also gave up three homers, starting with two rounds of Jace Peterson that capped the second half twice.
Willie Adams capped the offense for eighth with a two-round Homer from Ethan Roberts.
For the Cubs, Venezuelan Rafael Ortega 2-0, Wilson Contreras 3-0. Dominican Jonathan Villar 4-0.
For the Brewers, Dominican Adames scored 5-2 with two rounds and two were produced. Venezuelan Omar Narvaez 4-1.
