Daddy Yankee will coordinate in Puerto Rico for the end of the year special

San Juan, Dec. 7 (EFE). Puerto Rican reggaetonist Daddy Yankee will be the guest musician who will orchestrate, from Puerto Rico, the historic year-end release of the most-watched on American TV: Rockin’s New Year’s Eve. Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022, it was announced Tuesday.

Puerto Rican singer and actress Roslyn Sanchez will be the co-host of the legendary first Spanish-language end-of-the-year countdown, according to ABC Television and MRC Live & Alternative, event organizers in a press release.

The event, which will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, will take place in the T-Mobile District, San Juan, and in partnership between the Convention District Authority, MRC Live & Alternative and Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s destination marketing organization.

“Roslyn Sanchez and Daddy Yankee are ambassadors for Puerto Rican art and music, and having them in the home is a privilege,” Mariela Vallens, director of the Convention District Authority, said in the statement.

Meanwhile, Sanchez will be joined by other presenters, including host and executive producer Ryan Seacrest, who will for the 17th time headline the broadcast from Times Square in New York City alongside Lisa Koshy, who is attending the event for the first time.

During the special event, 500 years of the capital city of San Juan and the wonderful Christmas season of Puerto Rico, a time when the island’s vibrant culture, food, dance and music shine through with its festivities and local holidays, will be highlighted.
