New Zealand Women’s World Cup 2021 has started, last year’s tournament was delayed a year due to the pandemic. The tournament brings together the best selected teams in the world and they will try to win the most important trophy in the world. Enjoy it all live on Star+!

In Group AThey compete New Zealand, Wales, Scotland and Australia. In B Group, Canada, USA, Italy and Japan and in Group C, England, France, South Africa and Fiji.

Australia 17-41 New Zealand
Bien Derrida scored twice for the Australians who looked well planted on the pitch at Auckland’s Eden Park. Ivania Wong continued the streak but the New Zealanders were awakened by Jonah Ngan-Wu. Portia Woodman’s individual talents gave the Black Ferns a stunning win as they started on the right foot in Group A. Awhina Tangen-Wainohu and Ruby Tui both scored twice in the match.

PG 19-84 England
For Group C, England planned a perfect match against Fiji. La Rosa found gaps all the time. The poor nature of Fiji’s defense allowed the likes of Claudia MacDonald to back up four times in the match. The player of the match was irresistible and he proposed it every time. Amy Cocain, Abby Ward, Helena Rowland, Zoe Aldcroft, Lydia Thompson, Abby Dow, Leanne Infante and Connie Powell were all delighted to achieve great success.

South Africa 5-40 France
France were the first to score on their World Cup debut with a two-minute try from Laure Sanches. From that point to the end, France dominated the match with the arrivals of Gabriel Vernier, Emilie Poulard, Caroline Drouin and Joanna Grises. Consistent with his kicking was Lina Guiroy, who entered the second half and converted everything she kicked. The South African team never met in this tournament and did not even get a bonus point.

United States 10-22 Italy
The Americans quickly opened the scoring from Hallie Daufou, but the score stayed the same until late in the first half when Italian Vittoria Ostuni did her thing in someone else’s goal. The American team gave up, but it was no match for the strength of the Europeans.

Japan 5-41 Canada
Great performance from the Canadians who opened the game with a goal four minutes into the first half. Despite responding in the minute, Japan were not good enough to put on a good performance and counter the power of the North Americans, who managed to score another six tries.

Wales 18-15 Scotland
A very close match between neighboring countries which was limited in the final minutes of the match. In the first half, Wales took the lead with a try from Alisha Butchers, but Lana Skelton equalised. El Dragón, however, struck at his level, although he billed twice as much as was produced by the Scots.
