Dominican Eric Rosa will reveal his WBO lower title against Venezuelan Orlando Pino

WBA regular minimum welterweight champion Dominican Eric ‘Mini Packman’ Rosa will defend his title against Venezuelan Orlando Pino in a card that will take place on August 15 in Santo Domingo.

“I’m in great shape and very safe because when I get into the ring, what I’m going to do is have fun. For me, boxing is fun,” said the boxer, who scored 5-0.

Mini PacMan downplays the fact that he hasn’t fought since December 2021, when he defeated Victor ‘Vic’ Saludar of the Philippines by split decision in Santo Domingo.

Nor is he concerned that Benno, who has 14 victories, 8 by sleepover and 1 setback, is a more experienced opponent.

“I have prepared three good camps to prepare for three world fights that did not happen through my fault,” said Rosa, who is based in Las Vegas, United States, one of the world boxing mechas.

Two of those commitments for the lowest-weight (105 pounds) regular champion from the WBA were to take place in Thailand in 2022, where he will face the undefeated world super-champion at that weight, Thammanoon Niyomtring.

“I want it all, I don’t limit myself to the goals that I can achieve,” he affirmed regarding the boss’ fight against Newtring, who is undefeated in 24 fights, including 12 defenses.
