Epson offers its A4 desktop scanners

Epson launched four new compact desktop scanners, the ES-DC330, DS-C490, ES-C320W, and ES-C380W, to aid digitization processes and provide tools to address the challenges of hybrid working in offices: specifically shared spaces, smaller desks, and table spaces reduced work.

The new scanners provide a compact solution to save space on the bench. They allow users to choose between different types of booster feeding according to their needs, with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 ppm, depending on the model.

“The differential versatility of these scanners, which allows users to adjust the support path to be able to digitize a variety of documents, means that in shared and mixed work environments where space is at a premium, users can easily adapt and have easy access to high-quality scanning tools for digitization operations,” Explain Alex Mathieu, Epson Product Manager.

The ES-C320W and ES-C380W models allow wireless scanning, and the inclusion of the Epson ScanWay app with the ES-C380W allows users to use the product as a single solution, select workflows from the equipment’s touchpad and scan to any folder or directory, without the need for a PC.

Users can search for the most popular cloud services, including OneDrive, Sharepoint online and Microsoft Teams with Epson Connect.

All models include a wide range of image and text enhancement technologies, including optical character recognition (OCR), and document protection features to simplify file destination identification or workflow.

As an organization, Epson places sustainability as a priority, and is committed to using up to 30% recycled plastics in these products. This is another step towards the strategic goal of becoming a free underground resource company by 2050.
