Los Angeles (USA), November 8 (EFE). The members of the American rock band Foo Fighters will star in a horror movie that will be shown in theaters on February 25, 2022, under the title “Studio 666”.

The film chronicles the moment when the band’s lead singer, Dave Grohl, and the rest of the Foo Fighters (Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mindel, Pat Samir, Chris Shefflet and Rami Jaffe) meet in a California studio to record his tenth album despite an unexpected series of events that will spoil his plans.

Once inside the house, Dave Grohl will have to contend with supernatural forces that threaten both album completion and the life of the band,” said the synopsis of the film, directed by PJ McDonnell.

Grohl explained that the project, which was revealed Monday in Deadline magazine first, was designed in complete secrecy and after “decades of ridiculous music videos.”

The musician explained: “Now is the time to take it to the next level…with a horror movie and a comedy.

The group of the former Nirvana member is famous for its completely executed shows and stadiums all over the world.

His most recent studio album is “Medicine at Midnight” (2020), which is the tenth of his discography with over 27 million copies sold. EFE
