Formnext 2021 successfully celebrates its return as a face-to-face event

More than 600 exhibitors from 36 countries participated in the event and 17,859 professionals and CEOs from 76 countries visited.

In its seventh edition, FORM NEXT 2021 Returned to a warm welcome to the international additive manufacturing community. Held in Frankfurt from 16-19 November 2021, the exhibition featured a series of world premieres across the entire chain of operations, demonstrating the areas of continued expansion of the additive manufacturing application and its remarkable potential for the future. Exhibitors and attendees also provided solutions to urgent and important future issues, such as decentralized production, secure process chains, efficiency and sustainability.

During the four days of the event, Formnext 2021 once again transformed Frankfurt into an international center for innovation in additive manufacturing and modern industrial production. More than 600 exhibitors from 36 countries participated in the event. 17,859 professionals and executives from 76 countries had the opportunity to experience Formnext on the three levels of Halls 11 and 12 of the fairgrounds (11.0, 12.0 and 12.1) with a total area of ​​30,000 square metres.

Formnext’s exhibitors and comprehensive event support program demonstrated the wide range of possibilities that industrial 3D printing offers to many user segments. Enable visitors to discover innovative solutions they can use to make their production more efficient and sustainable. Above all, the attendees clearly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and interact in person again. The event was held under 2G maximum security conditions, which means that only people who have been fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 were allowed to attend.

The day before Formnext, more than 120 participants attended the premiere of the first forum on ASTM standards, supported by USCS ISO and Formnext. This successful launch underscores the importance of transatlantic efforts to set common standards. The Standards Forum will be held again in 2022.

Visitors were also impressed by the evolution of Formnext and the atmosphere in the showroom.
