‘God of War’ beat Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) in the final of the polling tournament organized by IGN which is the best video game in history.
Specialist video game outlet IGN organized a poll to determine the best video game of all time last week, and after 26 million votes out of all the switches, the popular PlayStation 4 title of 2018, God of War, The best video game of all time has been crowned.
The survey was organized through a tournament in which 64 participants participated, in a Knockout mode Of the thirty-second finals (32 finals).
Among the rounds were classics like Tetris, Pokémon Yellow, Mario Kart, Final Fantasy VII, GoldenEye, Resident Evil 4, and Super Mario 64, as well as what many consider to be the most popular games in the world today, including Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Overwatch.
God of War had to beat popular video games like Starcraft, Portal 2, Skyrim and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to reach the final, while his last opponent Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) triumphed over Uncharted 2 and Halo 2, The Last of War. Us, Batman: Arkham City, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Finally, the latest version of the Kratos saga beat Grand Theft Auto V with 62% of the vote, compared to 38% by Rockstar Games.
