Update: The story has been updated to reflect that the Homepot Mini is now available in Italy and has new color options in Australia, Germany and New Zealand.
Earlier this month, Apple began selling the Homepot Mini in three new colors in the United States, expanding the availability of these options in Australia and New Zealand, as well as making the products available in Italy for the first time.
The new orange, yellow and blue colors of the HomePad Mini were unveiled during Apple’s ‘Unleashed’ event in October, where the company also announced the new MacBook Pro M1 Pro and M1 Max and third-generation airplanes.
Then, a week later, the company began selling the HomePot Mini in these new options in the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.
Apple plans to launch the HomePot Mini in orange, yellow and blue in Austria, France, India, Ireland, Spain and the UK in late November, which could happen any day soon.
Yesterday, a report by the Italian blog iSpazio said that the Apple Smart Speaker will be available in Italy from today, and it is now.
The HomePod mini 2020 was introduced by the company after the controversial full-size HomePod launch. At the time, the company described when the product was launched:
“The HomePod mini has everything a customer wants in a smart speaker: a world-class Smart Assistant that delivers a unique experience of listening to music, a unique experience for every member of the family, and like all Apple products it is designed with privacy and security. With that in mind, ”said Bob Porchers, Apple’s vice president of global product marketing. “The HomePod mini is the best smart speaker for anyone with an Apple device. It works effortlessly with the iPhone to stream music, answer calls or provide customized listening suggestions, turn up the volume on Apple TV, play music from the Mac and much more. There are a lot of Apple innovations in such a small speaker, all at an affordable price.
