Jetblue lowers ticket prices to destinations in the USA and the Caribbean

Jetblue is dropping ticket prices from $39 for the fall to cities in the United States, the Caribbean, and other destinations. However, the company explains that all offers are under the “Blue Basic” plan, and prices are shown according to the user’s location and will depend on the destination.

“Big Sale” bookings, as the offer has been called, are for reservations through August 30, and apply to flights between September 6 and November 11, but not Fridays and Sundays.

“Restrictions apply and vary for different or additional days, travel in a window seat or on blackout dates. Some routes may not operate daily or service begins at a later time for sale,” the company explains.

Flights will primarily depart from Newark International Airport in New Jersey, John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia in New York. Prices start at $39 for tickets to Miami, Florida. To Boston, MA, the price actually varies and starts at $59.

From Newark to Cancun, the set price is $134. From JFK to Mexico City, the price also starts at $134, and from the same airport, a flight to Nashville, Tennessee, starts at $59; to Orlando $79; and New Orleans, Louisiana, $89. To Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from JFK, the fare starts at $184. To Ontario, Canada, ticket prices start at $154. for San Juan, Puerto Rico $109; To Kingston, Jamaica $174.

As mentioned REPORTUR.usJetblue has cut 37 routes that were due to start later this year through 2023, however, Spirit, the airline it plans to acquire, operates 6 of those routes, between Newark to Atlanta, Austin and San Diego, and from Fort Lauderdale to Chicago, Portland and Seattle. (Jetblue shrinks 37 routes: you’ll cover 6 destinations when you capture Spirit.)
