London, July 1 (EFE). – The London Stock Exchange recorded widespread losses this Friday, although the main index closed slightly down 0.01%, affected by the performance of groups in the mining sector.
The main index of the London Stock Exchange, FTSE-100, fell 0.63 points, to 7168.65, while the secondary index FTSE-250 lost 0.16%, 29.80 points, to 18,636, 80.
At the London market close, the British pound was down 0.27% against the euro, and down 0.84% against the US dollar.
Among the gainers today were supermarket chain Ocado, which rose 4.20%, followed by SSE Group, which recorded a gain of 3.81%, and Rolls Royce Holdings, which was 3.77% higher than its value.
In contrast, Harbor Energy ended with a loss of 8.58%, followed by Glencore, which fell by 4.21%, then Anglo American, which fell by 3.93%, and then Endeavor Mining, which lost 3.70%. EFE
