Donostia – Two Scottish actors, Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish, both stars of Outlander, are back in men's kilts to take us on a journey. This time, the hosts travel to New Zealand.

Men in Guilds is a non-fiction series that takes you on a road trip through the places and traditions of a country and its connection to Scotland's cultural heritage. Four new 30-minute episodes in which Heughan and McTavish explore New Zealand's history, traditions and most iconic locations, proving why it's considered the Scotland of the Southern Hemisphere. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the two actors venture into shark-infested oceans, unleash their fiercest competitive edge by practicing various extreme sports, learn first-hand about world-renowned cattle ranching, and learn to dance the traditional Maori haga. The odd hobbit on the way. A unique and special opportunity to experience New Zealand through the prism of Scottish heritage.

These new installments are set in New Zealand because, among other reasons, Graham McTavish currently lives in the country after meeting Peter Jackson on the set of The Hobbit Saga. Likewise, Lord of the Rings was also filmed in this country.
