He pointed out that in other legislative bodies, regulations on this subject were proposed, but they were stopped, and that there is a draft project that will be sent to the members of the committee, and it will be subject to opinions to enrich it and develop an excellent initiative for the maritime sector.

He noted that the idea was for all committee members to go, and suggested meeting with the Mexican Chamber of Shipping Industry, the Mexican Association of Freight Forwarders, and other entities in the sector to hear and attend. opinions and demands.

He proposed a meeting with the Secretary of the Navy to address and coordinate a visit to Campeche Sound and learn about its structure and the problems it faces, in order to develop an action agenda based on the information obtained.

For her part, MP Sofia Carvajal considered it necessary to promote the growth of the maritime industry.

He said we need more boats, modern boats, new ones and our boats, so we can produce them and not have to buy the boats of 20 years ago.
