Zacatecas, Zach, September 4, 2023.- Because health is one of the priority issues for the public policies of the administration headed by Governor David Monreal Ávila, we are determined to work on disseminating knowledge that helps the population make better decisions, in an effort to take care of your well. being; For this reason, the Ministry of Health maintains a set of strategies and procedures to guide young people to practice their sexual lives freely and responsibly.

Every year on September 4, the AMSS calls on public and private organizations to join forces to advocate for young people in matters of sexual and reproductive rights.

In the latest National Demographic Dynamics Survey (ENADID), conducted in 2018, it was observed that a large number of young people under the age of 20 are already sexually active, illustrating the urgent need to redouble efforts to prevent sexual harassment. Transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancy.

In this regard, SSZ is constantly working, as it has 72 units throughout the state, where an office called Friendly Services has been created, which aims to receive young people and adolescents who seek advice on family planning methods and, in general, on issues related to their sexual life. .

The staff in charge of these clinics maintain close contacts and relationships with the community in which they work, through visits to schools to give informational lectures and train young volunteers who become health promoters and who take on the obligation to spread the knowledge they learn in these units among their circle of colleagues and friends.
