Morena’s party asks to investigate the neo-Nazi party in Mexico

Local and federal deputies went before that agency to denounce neo-Nazi activity on October 29 in the neighborhood of Santa María la Ribera.

Federal legislator Marisol Gasse and other colleagues and national leaders have filed a complaint against those responsible for actions that could constitute crimes against people’s dignity and discrimination during the party.

After delivering a letter to the Gasé Public Prosecutor’s Office, he said that secret fascist celebrations took place that day in the hall of El Pentatlón with about 300 people and five far-right bands: three Hispanic and two Mexican.

Tickets cost 1,580 pesos ($78) and during the show they chanted hate slogans and Nazi salutes beyond doubt, in addition to the place being decorated with swastikas, pictures of Adolf Hitler and phrases in German. The Nazi salute “Sieg Heil” (a German phrase used at political meetings of the Third Reich that can be translated as “Salute, long live, eternal victory”) gained presence as the night went on.

He stated that dozens of audience members chanted it between songs, and some musicians even made a Hitler sign before leaving the stage.

The lawmaker noted that the resurrection of death and pain insignia would not be allowed, so she reiterated that while Fourth Shift governs, all acts that incite racism will be eliminated.

For his part, the Minister of Art and Culture of the National Executive Committee of Morena, Tomás Bligo Calvo, agreed that these works would not be allowed, especially when Mexico is going through a transformation.

We will become the magnifying glass for any of these fascist demonstrations and condemn them publicly and judicially. Carlos Ortiz, head of the House Committee on Culture, spoke in the same way.

Morena’s spokeswoman for the Mexico City Congress, Nancy Nunez, lamented that these actions are being carried out in a city where rights prevail for all and not just for a few.

For her part, Representative Ana Frances Lopez said that the left takes human rights seriously, so it will not allow hate speech that only seeks division.
