New Zealand: They pay thousands of dollars to take care of the nature park – travel – life

For some, staying in a hospitable, virgin place full of nature is a dream come true. Walking in the morning, listening to the chirping of birds, falling snow and enjoying the sunset in the wildlife-rich areas are some of the things that make a dream come true for people who love adventure and biodiversity. But what if they pay you?

There is currently a job offer in New Zealand and it indicates that. AndThe Biodiversity Supervisor position is offered in the Haast region on the western edge of Mount Spring National Park in the South Island.

The work includes trekking over glaciers, tropical forests and mountains, traveling by boat or helicopter. and above all the monitoring and care of local fauna including kiwi, penguins and reptiles.

The New Zealand government, through the Department of Defense (DOC), pays the incumbent between $40,000 and $50,000 per year based on their skills.

Qualifications to apply for the role include: Demonstrated leadership/supervisory skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and coach a passionate team; Previous experience in biodiversity, especially endangered species management projects; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience managing relationships with stakeholders and stakeholders; Excellent time management and organizational skills; A passion for supporting the success of others.

However, while this is a dream job opportunity for many, Wayne Costello, DOC’s director of operations, told the news agency Till October 19, only 3 people had applied for the job.
