Lenovo has expanded its catalog of laptops targeting video games, and during MWC 2022 in Barcelona, ​​it introduced new members of its IdeaPad Gaming 3 series, with features like screens up to 165 Hz (Hz) and a backlit keyboard.

Lenovo’s new entry-level line of “gaming” PCs consists of two devices: the IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i, which are available with 15 or 16-inch screens and are aimed at young video game enthusiasts, the brand confirmed in a statement.

The laptop family benefits from a “gaming” design with blue-tone decorative elements in the cooling system on the rear, with 20% more ventilation than the previous generation and 10% more airflow. The back also houses the ports for easy connectivity.

Equipped with Windows 11, the new hardware also works with processors up to a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 (IdeaPad Gaming 3i) or AMD Ryzen 6000 (in IdeaPad Gaming 3, for choice), while the graphics unit can be chosen between an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Arc.

Lenovo has also included the new IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i IPS monitors with a high refresh rate of 165Hz, although two sizes can be chosen: 16-inch with 16:10 ratio and WQHD+ resolution; And another 15.6-inch 16:9 by WQHD.

Other features added to this include a Nahimic Audio 3D sound system, optional backlit keyboard with four RGB lighting zones, FHD webcam with security shutters in 16-inch version, DDR5 up to 32GB, storage up to 1TB SSD, and three months From Xbox Game Pass.

Alongside the new IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptops, Lenovo also introduced the new Legion M600s wireless gaming mouse, which features Qi wireless charging and up to 70 hours of battery life.

This accessory weighs 75 grams and features sensor-less operation with a resolution of 19,000 dots per inch (dpi), six programmable buttons and RGB lights with 16.8 million combinations.
