Prime ended the first half of the year with a consolidated net profit of 8 million euros, which is 20% higher than in the same period in 2022, according to the company itself.

The group improved its net income by 9.8%, to 108.7 million, while increasing its gross margin for consolidated businesses from 47.9% to 50.3%, data that is in line with the objectives of its strategic plan 2021-2025, as highlighted by Preem.

Prim ended June with gross operating results (Ebitda) of €14.9 million, 27.6% higher than last year’s figure, according to Ep.

The result before tax reached 10.6 million, with a year-on-year growth of 22%, and net earnings per share were close to €0.40 per share, up 18.5% on the previous year.

These increases to the first half results include a one-time gain from the sale of the SPA and Wellness business for €1.7 million, which was executed last March.

These operations were carried out in compliance with the entity’s strategic plan, which is committed to focusing business in the areas of mobility and healthcare on the one hand, and medical technologies on the other.

Likewise, the first semester was key for Prim in implementing its new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, a tool that will provide the company with a more robust operating system and will be the basis for improved operational efficiency, as well as scalability and flexibility to advance digitalization.

Regarding ESG commitments, the Group launched an ESG master plan for 2023-2025 and integrated ESG targets into the changed salary structure for members of the company’s management committee and their direct reports.

In addition, Preem committed to the United Nations Global Compact, which implies a commitment to align strategic operations with the ten globally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment, and anti-corruption.
