The Argentina national team travels to New Zealand, aiming for the World Cup

The Argentina women’s soccer team will travel to New Zealand this Wednesday, where they will play three friendlies as part of a FIFA date in preparation for the 2023 World Cup to be played between July and August.

DT German Portanova’s side will play a match against Chile on Friday in Auckland at 4:30 Argentina time.

It will then be played twice in Hamilton and Auckland on Monday 20th and Thursday 23rd respectively against World Cup hosts New Zealand along with Australia.

The 21 players called up by the coach are as follows: Vanina Correa, Laurina Oliveros, Julieta Cruz, Miriam Mayorca, Gabriela Chavez, Erika Lonigro, Maricel Pereira, Diana Falfan, Romina Nunez. Estefania Panini, Paulina Gramaglia, Ciara Cingarella, Sofia Brown, Mariana Larroquette, Florencia Bonsecundo, Aldana Cometti, Lorena Benitez, Yamila Rodriguez, Mariela Szymanowski, Eliana Stabile and Vanessa Santana

Argentina will form Group G of the World Cup with representatives from Italy (July 24), South Africa (July 28) and Sweden (August 2).
