The United States destroyed the last CIA station in Afghanistan

Kabul-. It was reported today that US forces destroyed the last CIA base in Kabul with a controlled explosion.

The Afghan Pajhwok News Agency reported that the forward operation site on the outskirts of Hamid Karzai International Airport was blown up hours after the two powerful blasts that killed 170 people.

At the so-called Eagle base, the Afghan counter-terror forces and intelligence agencies that fought the insurgents of the militant fundamentalist Taliban group were trained.

This complex was surrounded by high security, with walls seven meters high and a heavy metal armored door.

The Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan after 20 years of military occupation by the United States and NATO, which invaded the impoverished Central Asian country in an alleged anti-terror crusade, leaving 250,000 dead and 11 million refugees.

Experts note that the previous Taliban government, between 1996 and 2001, with its extreme fundamentalist approach, was disastrous for its abuses against women, girls, ethnic minorities and even education, then the country was isolated internationally.
