Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante was named UEFA Champions League 2020/21 Player of the Year.

The 30-year-old France international beat Jorginho and Kevin De Bruyne after an impressive season in which he was named Man of the Match in the semi-finals and final. The award was presented to Kanté at a ceremony 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Istanbul.
