Will Air New Zealand, Emirates and Qatar fly back to Argentina in 2022? – Connoisseurs.com

Currently, three of the world’s leading airlines, most internationally acclaimed for their service, quality, safety and timeliness, are far from setting foot on Argentine soil. For a variety of reasons, there are many doubts about whether Air New Zealand, the Emirates and Qatar in general will fly back to Argentina in 2022.

In the case of Air New Zealand, the answer is no, and the reasons are clear. New Zealand has closed its borders and will not allow foreigners to enter with some exceptions.

Air New Zealand was important to fly not only to New Zealand but also to Australia, and it was an interesting option to reach the Middle East. But its borders with Australia are practically closed, with a few exceptions, making it impossible for the company to return in the short term.

Like other airlines, Argentina’s devalued economy, little access to dollars and a ban on buying tickets in installments for international tickets, established by the government of President Alberto Fernandez, further complicate the picture.

The return of Air New Zealand is not expected in the short / medium term, however we all miss it. (Including our publishers).

Will Emirates and Qatar fly to Argentina again in 2022?

During the current Dubai Expo, Emirates officials met with the Tourism Development Director of the National Institutes of Tourism Promotion (Infrotur), who expressed interest in resuming operations in 2022 from Buenos Aires in Brazil to Dubai.

For now, Qatar has not made any announcements, although it has been selling Coatshare flights with Iberia since last year, creating the Buenos Aires-Madrid area with the Spanish airline and then continuing with Qatar.
