Xiaomi extends the life of the Redmi 9 by launching two “new” models

The Chinese company Xiaomi owns in Redmi the brand for its cheapest devices, and in turn it owns in Redmi 9 its cheapest mobile phone. Now the brand is extending its life a bit more with two new models, namely Redmi 9A Sport y 9i SportSome phones responsible for giving a new approach to a model that no longer has much market travel with the arrival of Redmi 10. Although, as usual, what Xiaomi offers us now is not entirely new, let’s see.

Features of Redmi 9A Sport and 9i Sport

Well, the truth is that we are facing two old acquaintances, and that is that these phones are actually both Redmi 9A and Redmi 9i, but with The only difference is that they now have a renewed color palette. This is the only difference in calling each of these models sporty. We can see that both terminals now have more attractive colours, with gradations giving them a more modern look, despite the fact that the design of these phones of course pales in comparison to the new Redmi 10 design, which is pretty cool.

The truth is that these phones are really identical to each other when we talk about the features, except for one specific aspect, which is the RAM and the internal storage. While the Redmi 9A has 4GB RAM options, as well as 64GB or 128GB internal storage, in the Redmi 9i we have 2GB and 3GB RAM versions accompanied by 32GB expandable internal storage in both cases.
