[1] Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, S9 Ultra and the included S Pen are IPx4/68 rated under IEC 60529. Under laboratory test conditions, the device is sprayed with 10 liters of fresh water per minute for 5 minutes from all angles (IPx4) and submerged. In up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes (IP68). Not recommended for use on the beach or in the pool. The device’s water and dust resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time due to normal wear and tear. Dust resistance tested under laboratory conditions by a third party: 2 kg of talcum powder (maximum diameter 0.05 mm) per cubic meter was blown into a test chamber containing the device (the air pressure inside the device was kept lower than the ambient air) for 2 hours. Dust resistance may vary depending on actual usage conditions.
