America bombs sites in eastern Syria

Must Read

According to the sources, the targets that were attacked were located in the southern vicinity of the city of Albukamal, east of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, about 500 kilometers northeast of Damascus, and near the border with Iraq.

The published pictures show strong explosions and fires in certain places, without confirming whether there were human or material losses.

On November 9 and 12, two Pentagon bombings killed several Syrian soldiers and armed members of militias allied with Damascus, in addition to destroying warehouses and positions for Syrian soldiers, also used by pro-Damascus militias.

Meanwhile, on October 30, a similar attack targeted a convoy of trucks coming from Iraq, in the same Deir ez-Zor governorate.

Also, on October 26, a Pentagon attack was carried out on two points of the Syrian army and its allies in the town of Al-Mayadeen.

Washington maintains fifteen bases in Syrian territory without the approval of the Damascus government or the approval of the United Nations.

Syria has repeatedly denounced this presence, which it described as an occupation, and stressed that the actions of the American army in the national territory encourage terrorist activity and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.

The attacks against these bases have increased significantly since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and they now exceed 100, and have caused the injury of at least fifty American soldiers.
