Carlos III Proclamation, live | Queen Elizabeth II of England dies at the last minute

Jewels, postage stamps, postage stamps … this is how Elizabeth II’s inheritance will be distributed

Sable II was not only the Queen of England, but also one of the richest people in the world with her own wealth. From the moment his death was announced, last Thursday, September 8, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, it was already known who would inherit the crown and, accordingly, all the assets attached to it, which belonged to the foundation. However, not much is known yet about how his private assets were distributed.

According to the 2022 Sunday Times listing, Elizabeth II’s private assets are £370 million (about €426 million). These are estimated figures, since the Queen is not obligated to disclose her own financial resources, so it is necessary to distinguish between the personal assets and rights of Elizabeth II, which are part of her inheritance, and those belonging to the Crown, that pass directly to his successor, King Carlos III.

The new king will inherit the Crown Estate, a real estate company from which he will receive 15% of the profits because it belongs to the king, although it is managed independently. It includes properties such as London’s shopping street Regent Street or the Ascot racetrack, as well as farms, woodlands or coastlines.

It will also get the Duchy of Lancaster, which includes many of the estates that the British royal family have been acquiring for more than 700 years. This includes 18,000 hectares of nine castle grounds and estates.
