Government leads whipalazo in Bolivia on Decolonization Day – Prensa Latina

He pointed out that this date represented the alliance between the monarchy and the Catholic Church, “which imposed economic relations of exploitation, relations of political dependence, and relations of cultural oppression.”

On this day of original resistance, Morales emphasized that Bolivia had replaced the colonial state with the Plurinational State.
