The movement announced, through a statement, the destruction of the air defense system after a guided missile fell, as part of its continued operations in support of Gaza.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah reported rocket and rocket shelling on a gathering of enemy soldiers in the Hanita Forest and the last Al-Sama’a site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba.
During the day, the resistance confirmed that there were casualties among the Israelis, by bombing the location of the forces’ concentration in the Al-Baghdadi site with a drone.
In parallel, Lebanese fighters attacked positions of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Malikiyah and Birkat Risha sites with appropriate weapons.
In a related development, large fires broke out in the cities of Aitaroun and Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon, after bombing by Israeli occupation aircraft.
In this context, the leader of the opposition in the Israeli entity, Yair Lapid, commented that the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has abandoned the state and must be replaced.
According to Lapid, it is not only the North that is burning, but also Israeli deterrence and honor, the media reported.
For his part, former Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Tel Aviv Army, Yair Golan, expressed that Netanyahu has lost his way and his conscience and represents an existential threat to the State of Israel.
At this point, IDF Reserve Brigadier General Yiftah Ron Tal described the current situation in the north with Lebanon as a shameful and unbearable reality.
According to the official, Hezbollah is creating a security zone inside Israel, and “everyone who visits the north understands what I am talking about, it is an abandoned, burned-out war zone.”
According to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, in the north there is a sharp increase in the crisis among children and young people who are showing symptoms of panic and depression and many talks about suicide and self-harm.
