The summit event expects the discussion and approval of the 2030 Strategic Plan, which Ariza announced to delegates at that meeting, and which has five horizons: economic, political, social, cultural and communication.

This includes attention to priorities such as strengthening food security and food sovereignty, strengthening regional disaster resilience, encouraging tourism alliances, expanding Alba Bank, revitalizing Petrocaribe, and coordinating education and education policies. Health, among others.

The meeting is being held in the context of the International Day for Multilateralism and Peace Diplomacy, in order to emphasize the values ​​of multilateral diplomacy and highlight the role that the integration bloc plays in promoting peace, stability and development in the region.

Ultimately, the Declaration of the 23rd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Latin America – Technical Cooperation and the Strategic Plan for 2030 is scheduled to be adopted, according to the official agenda.
