Pinterest lets you share content on other platforms

The Pinterest team has announced a new option that users will find in the app that will make it easier to share certain content on other social platforms.

So users who want to share content that they find interesting on Pinterest with their followers on other social networks can simply do so.

How to download Pinterest Pins to share on Instagram and Facebook

As mentioned by the team PinterestUsers will now be able to share content they find interesting with their followers on other social networks. One detail to keep in mind is that this possibility is only available for Pin ideas:

Idea Pins give people more ways to share inspiration with up to 20 pages of videos, photos, and text. Idea Pin gives you all the information you need to make a recipe, make a craft or try out a creator idea.

User will be able to share this content directly in Stories Instagram and Facebook, just by following a few steps. The post will be downloaded as a video with a Pinterest watermark and username.

As you can see in the image it will appear as if it was a card showing the content and data that we mentioned. But don’t worry, you won’t have to download the video to re-upload it to Instagram or Facebook.

The process is done from the same app as Pinterest. You have to open the sharing menu and select the Instagram or Facebook Stories icon. Just wait a few seconds for Pinterest to prepare the content to share, and you’ll see that it automatically takes you to the corresponding app. In this step, the content is ready to publish to the story.

And of course you’ll be able to tweak some details to adapt it to your Facebook or Instagram audience.
