Re-election of President Erdogan for a new term – Escambray

The head of Turkey’s Supreme Election Board, Ahmet Yener, indicated that no negative events were reported to the Electoral College during the voting process.

Current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan leads the preliminary (unofficial) results of the presidential elections in Turkey, after half of the votes were counted.

After 97.1% of the votes were counted, the incumbent candidate of the Popular Alliance won 52.21% of the vote over his opponent, opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu of the Nation Alliance, who added 47.57% of the electoral support in the coalition. Round two.

Polling stations opened at 8:00 AM (local time) and closed at 5:00 PM. A total of 191,885 polling stations were set up for this election.

The head of the Turkish Supreme Electoral Council, Ahmet Yener, indicated that no negative events were reported to the Electoral College during the voting process.

Speaking to the media after the voting closed, Yener said all objections were dealt with by the relevant authorities and he thanked everyone who helped the commission organize a successful election.
