Three minors and their grandmother were killed as a result of an Israeli aircraft shell that hit a civilian car on Sunday afternoon between the cities of Blida and Ainata near the border with Israel.
The mother of the minors, Hoda Abdel Nabi Hayazi, who was driving the car, was injured, according to the official Lebanese National News Agency. The car was directly hit and caught fire.
An Israeli drone reportedly attacked two cars. In the first, journalist Samir Abdel Hussein Ayoub, a correspondent for a Russian media outlet, was traveling, and in the second, his sister who was killed in the attack, his niece, and the three minors, ages 10, 12, and 14, were present. travel.
The deceased were identified as Samira Abdel Hussein Ayoub, Samir Ayoub’s sister, and her grandchildren: Remas Mahmoud Hayazi (14 years old), Talin Mahmoud Hayazi (12 years old), and Layan Mahmoud Hegazy (10 years old). Samir Ayoub was also injured.
The injured and deceased were transferred to Selaa Ghandour Hospital in Bint Yabil.
